OUR STORY
Embracing and celebrating the diversity of every individual.
In-person in Waco, TX & online therapist across TX, WA, & FL
At BHA Counseling, we understand that each person’s unique experiences, backgrounds, and identities shape their journey. Whether you identify by race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, or any other aspect of who you are, we are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive space where all are seen, heard, and respected.
We are deeply invested in equity and work to ensure that therapy is accessible and meaningful for everyone. We aim to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care that honors the full spectrum of human experiences. No matter where you come from or what challenges you face, we are here to support you on your path to healing and growth.
Our ApproachPerson-centered: This means the therapeutic process is a collaborative partnership between the therapist and the client. We create a space for reflection, accountability, and celebrating progress, no matter how big or small. While the journey differs for each person, our role remains consistent: to guide, support, and encourage you every step of the way.
Authentic: In session, we remain true to ourselves without putting up a professional facade. By openly expressing authentic feelings and attitudes in the moment, our time is where you can connect more deeply and honestly to your experiences.
Holistic: We believe in treating you as a whole person, which means understanding how all areas of your life might be interacting with your mental health. We customize our process to meet your unique needs, helping you work toward your goals.
Together, we’ll find the best path forward
